Ambergris Caye Resorts

Belize's most popular beach destination is the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye. It is 36 miles long, 2 miles wide, and has a population of approximately 9,000.

Ambergris Caye is the perfect destination for diving, snorkeling, fishing, boating, or just relaxing on the beach.
San Pedro Town is the main town on the island and offers beachfront hotels, restaurants, bars, and dance clubs. If you want to relax during the day and then enjoy a little nightlife, Ambergris Caye is an excellent choice.

Private Island Resorts

Belize boasts over 200 cayes off of its mainland, and while most of the cayes are uninhabited, two offer luxury private island retreats.
Caye Chapel and Cayo Espanto are private island resorts offering the highest standard of upscale island relaxation.
Caye Chapel is a bride's vision of the perfect destination wedding and Cayo Espanto is beyond her dreams when it comes to her honeymoon.

Orange Walk District Resorts

The Orange Walk District is inland and in North-Northwestern Belize. The capital is Orange Walk Town and its population is 47,500.
The Orange Walk District is known for Maya ruins, rainforest, exotic flora, and fauna. This area of Belize is an outstanding choice for archeology and wildlife exploration. Howler monkeys and parrots are just the beginning.
If you are in search of the elusive jaguar and other cats native to Belize, this area is your best opportunity to see one in the wild.

Cayo District Resorts

The Cayo District is in the heart of central Belize. It has become the most visited district due its proximity to rivers, caves, waterfalls, archeological sites, and Tikal in Guatemala. You can explore Maya ruins, go cave tubing, hike waterfalls, go birding, horseback riding, or just relax and do nothing at all.
Cayo also offers the most inland lodging choices of any district, including upscale resorts with spa services, jungle lodges, true eco-lodges, and adventure companies. The Cayo District promises a unique experience for every traveler.

Stann Creek District Resorts

The Stann Creek District is on the Caribbean coast of South Central Belize and encompasses the towns of Dangriga, Hopkins, and Placencia.
This district is unique because it offers visitors Garifuna culture, the world's only Jaguar Reserve, Maya Ruins, tropical forests, the country's best fishing guides, and excellent diving.
Stann Creek is the perfect choice if you want to stay on the beach but still go inland to enjoy the adventures of the jungle.

Toledo District Resorts

The Toledo District is in Southern Belize and has a population near 29,500. Punta Gorda Town is the largest town in the district.
The Toledo District is the least developed of all of the districts in Belize and is home to the most pristine rainforests. Due to the large amount of protected marine areas, the waters are full of life.
Toledo also offers Garifuna culture, Maya ruins, butterfly farms, jungle canopy walks, canoeing, hiking, diving, and even chocolate making.
